How we compare
Built for hosts. Priced like it.
Reservation platforms are built for restaurants and cost 3–10× more. Ticketing tools take a cut of every seat you sell. CuratedLove does neither.
| Platform | Price | Cut of your dinners | Built for | AI menu | Guest memory |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| CuratedLove | $0 · $49 · $149 /user/mo | None — your own Stripe, pass-through | Supper clubs & intimate dining hosts | ||
| Resy | from ~$249/mo | 2–3% on prepayments & tickets | Brick-and-mortar restaurants | — | |
| Tock | ~$79–$769/mo | % on prepaid bookings (lower tiers) | Ticketed & tasting-menu restaurants | — | Basic |
| OpenTable | $149–$499/mo | Per-cover fees + 2% on experiences | Restaurants wanting network reach | — | |
| Eventbrite | Free to list | ~3.7% + $1.79 per ticket + processing (~15% on a $20 seat) | General public events | — | — |
| Partiful | Free | Dynamic ticket fees (~12% in their own example) | Casual parties | — | — |
| Luma | Free · $59/mo | 5% on the free tier | Tech meetups & communities | — | Basic |
Competitor pricing as published mid-2026 and subject to change — Resy and Tock are merging under Amex, and Eventbrite's fees are in transition under new ownership. Guest payments on CuratedLove run through your own Stripe account at Stripe's standard 2.9% + 30¢.
Questions, answered
Before you set the table
Who is CuratedLove for?
Independent supper club hosts, private chefs, salon hosts, and small recurring dining businesses — anyone running intimate, menu-driven dinners rather than a brick-and-mortar restaurant. If your dining room is a loft, a farm table, or your own home, this was built for you.
Do you take a cut of my dinners?
No — ever. Guest payments run through Stripe at their standard 2.9% + 30¢, and CuratedLove keeps none of it. Compare that to Eventbrite (~15% on a $20 seat), Partiful (~12% on tickets), or Luma (5% on the free tier). Your dinner revenue is yours.
How is this different from Resy, Tock, or OpenTable?
Those are reservation systems built for restaurants: $150–$900 a month, optimized for table turns, and increasingly folded into the Amex and DoorDash ecosystems. None of them draft your menu, build your shopping list, or remember your guests the way a host needs. CuratedLove is built for the host, and it starts free.
How is this different from Eventbrite, Partiful, or Luma?
Those are general event tools — great for meetups, but they know nothing about dinners. No menus, no dietary notes, no guest memory, no deposits — and each takes a cut of every ticket. CuratedLove covers the whole dinner workflow and takes no cut.
What if I already run everything in Notion or a spreadsheet?
Keep them for your notes — CuratedLove earns its place doing what a document can't: taking real payment when a guest books, protecting you from no-shows with deposits, backfilling cancellations, and sending the reminders you'd otherwise write at 1am.
Can guests pay a deposit instead of the full price?
Yes. Set a per-seat deposit on any dinner and guests pay it at booking, with the balance settled at the table. It's the single best defense against no-shows — a reservation backed by money shows up.
Who owns my guest data?
You do — on every plan, including Free. Your guest list, dietary notes, and history belong to you: export them whenever you ask, and if you leave, deleted means deleted. It's never sold and never shared with another host. We analyze how the platform is used — dietary trends, how fast dinners fill at different prices — to keep improving the product for every host. Businesses that need DPAs, SSO, audit logs, or custom retention get them through The Collective.
Can I add more host seats?
Every plan includes a seat allotment — 1 on Free, 2 on Pro, 5 on Studio — so solo hosts never think about seats. Growing beyond that? Extra seats are a simple add-on on paid plans, and supper club networks or multi-venue teams should talk to us about The Collective.
Can I keep the tools I already use?
Yes — that's the point. CuratedLove connects to your Instagram, your calendar, and your POS (Square, Clover, Toast on Studio), so everything works together and nothing has to change. Every connection is opt-in: you choose your own tools, and nothing breaks if you disconnect one.
Is there an annual plan?
Yes. Pay annually and get two months free: Pro is $490/year (works out to $40.83/month) and Studio is $1,490/year ($124.17/month). Monthly billing is always available at $49 and $149.
Do I need my own website?
No. Every dinner gets a hosted, branded booking page the moment you publish it. On Pro the CuratedLove branding comes off; on Studio you can serve it from your own domain.
